If I were to describe Colourpuncture in a couple of words it would be 1) sustainable healing for the Body and 2) freedom from automatic patterns of emotions/reactions/thoughts/behaviour for the Soul. Here I’m expanding on this description with some examples.
So, how can I explain Colourpuncture in a couple of words? Well, it was a group of Colourpuncture therapists who knew just how much Colourpuncture did for them but they were not sure how to explain the benefits which Colourpuncture offers to people, how it works. (Far from a couple of words), I gave a relevant example on the level of the Body and Soul-Spirit – from my own experience which I could analyse in greater details.
This was my first Colourpuncture Q&A group back in April 2021! I found this recording recently and decided to publish it. As it was the first Zoom call, I was still figuring out the tech – so were some of the participants – at the end we did it as a Zoom call but you may hear some background noise and it ended up being an audio – again I was figuring out the tech.
Some background information: during Covid times I published several articles which I reference in the audio as titles at various points of the recording, please find all the links below.
Spa example: it was around my birthday and I was generally in more adventurous mood 🙂 This was a deliberate ‘provocation’: please DO NOT repeat that! I did it only to see how this will go but it’s not recommended and obviously everybody’s healing path is unique. It was though a representative example of how things may work with Colourpuncture when you are in a remission stage.
Acupuncture for colds: it’s hard to believe but the 4 needles ‘cold protocol’ does give you very quick results but you have to get your timing right: the sooner you do your Acupuncture cold treatment after you start feeling the very first symptoms of cold, the better, quicker and more reliably you will recover – this is because inflammation works as a series of ‘cascade’ physiological/biochemical reactions and so the stage of the process if important.
Same with Colourpuncture: please start on your Colourpuncture ‘cold protocol’ as soon as you feel the first symptoms of developing cold/flu (you can then repeat the cold protocol every 4 hours if you wish until cold/flu symptoms start easing off). Remember that here your choice of Colourpuncture colours is important: we use Red if the there is no fever to improve blood circulation and support immune system defence response but we use Blue if there is fever.
How I healed my respiratory system weakness was different: I started when I had a cold but then I continued and did everything I could find in my Colorpuncture training course manuals to strengthen immune system and Metal element (Lungs/Large Intestine according to TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).
Prenatal therapy example: I knew the history..but I didn’t feel it – I never thought it was a problem – and with that being a cultural thing, I felt the same as a young mother having grown up in and so being conditioned by that culture. During Prenatal therapy, I first felt it – and it was vastly different than knowing. And then I saw/realised/understood the whole chain of consequences this conditioning led to in my everyday life – all coloured with an invisible word ‘expectations’.
Generally, our patterns work as a two way road. I realised that stemming from these original unrealistic expectations (you may wish for but you can’t control the gender of the baby), the way this pattern has worked in my life was that I had unrealistic expectations both of myself and also of other people. But in my grown up life, nobody really had strong ‘expectations’ of me: my family and friends may have had wishes but really expectations.
It was mainly in my perception that I was expected to act in a certain way: in this example – to have a perfect English. Realistically, English was not my native language or a subject I learnt in Uni; I learned English in school and then in Uni as a side subject. I came to the UK where I started to practice my English in my early 30-s, already having a young family and a full-time work in science so looking back I can see I did my best learning the language.
The ‘freedom from pattern’ can work in several ways – again with healing the patterns I noticed the 2-year mark (with my patients as well): for two years I was absolutely free from the pattern and then the ‘expectations’ thing started to slowly come up again – but by that time I was so aware of it, I would literally smile and say internally ‘Hello, Expectations! Here you are, I can see you’ and that was OK.
In both Body and Soul-Spirit examples, sustainable healing in general in my view is something that 1) provides a long and stable remission; 2) the problem/symptom/pattern never comes back as bad as it was, neither in amplitude nor in duration and 3) you are either very self-aware (in case of a reaction/behavioural/emotional pattern) or well-equipped to deal with the problem when/if it resurfaces (I love my Colourpuncture ‘cold treatment’, shared it with so many people with great results).
Please do ask questions if you would like to learn more about how Colourpuncture works on real examples and if you are new to Colorpuncture on the details and practicalities of application.
In March 2025 I will be offering FREE, no obligations mini-consultations in Colourpuncture – and if you are a Colorpuncture therapist or use Colourpuncture for your self-care, you are also welcome to connect – we will have a chat and I will provide you with a short treatment protocol created for your current needs. I’m grateful to have Colourpuncture in my life and very happy to share my learning and experience. Please use the form below to contact me.
